• 1 banana, peeled and chopped
• 400ml (14fl oz) natural yogurt
• 1 heaped tbsp chocolate powder
• 2 small pinches freshly grated nutmeg

1. Put the banana, yogurt and chocolate powder into a blender or food processor. Whizz until smooth
2. Sprinkled the nutmeg on top to serve.

You can also use 6 large strawberries instead of the banana.

Ready you to kick some butts

It is drizzling outside, with a mist of sea fog. A nice mug of Hot chocolate just came to mind.

• 1 heaped tsp Chocolate powder
• 300ml (1/2 pint) full fat Jersey milk (come on, you deserve it)
• 1 cinnamon stick

1. Mix the chocolate powder with 2 teaspoons of the milk in a mug. Mix well until you get a smooth paste.
2. On a medium heat, bring the rest of the milk to boil in a saucepan
3. Pour the boiled milk into the mug containing the chocolate mixture.
4. Stir and serve with the cinnamon stick as a stirring stick

• 1 good-sized head of Radicchio
• 12 Radishes
• 2 Red peppers, preferably dark, pointed ones
• 4 small cooked beetroot
• 4 tbsp salad dressing
• 1 bunch Chives, finely chopped

1. Separate the radicchio into its individual leaves
2. Slice the radishes, red peppers. Cut the beetroot into strips
3. Arrange the radicchio leaves in a bowl. Add the red pepper and the radish slices, the beetroot strips.
4. Drizzle with your favorite salad dressing, sprinkle with the chopped chives.

Enjoy!

• Extra-virgin olive oil about 150ml (1/4 pint)

• 1 Onion finely chopped

• Tuna 250g can, drained and flaked

• Potatoes 250g (90z), cooked, roughly mashed and cooled

• Marjoram 1 tsp finely chopped fresh or 1/2 tsp dried

• Sage 1 tsp finely chopped fresh or 1/2 tsp dried

• 2 Egg, beaten

1. Heat 1 tsp of the oil in a flying pan and sauté the onion gently. Leave to cool, then mix thoroughly with the tuna.

2. Add the mash potatoes and herbs, mix well.

3. Add half the beaten egg and mix again.

4. You should be able to form about 8 flat cakes.

5. Dip each one in the remaining beaten egg

6. Heat the remaining oil in the flying pan and shallow-fry them gently for 7 minute on each side.

If you don’t like to fry them, then skip the step 5, put them in the oven at 220c (Fan 180/Gas 7) for 25-35 min instead.

Cute but strangely haunting.

A cool poster created to promote Disney’s Star Wars Weekends, an annual summer special event at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, that celebrates George Lucas Star Wars. There are more posters at the StarWars.com website. This is the one I love best.

Fancy one of this for your den? It’s a advertising for ESPN channels. A miniature soccer goals were placed on green urinal deodorizer blocks in several pubs. Moth balls were placed in front of the miniature soccer goals. The sign above the urinal says: Soccer is good everywhere, but it is much better on ESPN channels.

It’s absolutely gorgeous. And now that we’ve entered the Summer with all that heat, this is just the thing.

• a 12ish-oz. bag of frozen raspberries
• 1/3 cup of sugar (start with less and add if you worried about it being too sweet)
• 1/2 cup of heavy cream

Whirl them all together in a food processor or blender until it’s completely smooth. THAT’S. IT. This should feeds 4-6 people.

Depending on how frozen your berries are, you might have to whirl a bit longer, but you can serve it immediately if you’d like. Or just pour it into a container and throw it in the freezer for a couple of hours. It’ll last a couple of weeks I think.

If you’d like something a little less fattening, try plain yogurt instead of the cream. Experiment with other fruits, like mango, peace etc. Enjoy!

These two wooden buildings on Montrose Boulevard were to be replaced by a new built project. So the few months before the demolition, Dan Havel and Dean Ruck (click here for the visual performance) made this into an architectonic installation.
